Bersant Celina will miss Swansea City’s Good Friday clash with Rotherham due to illness, manager Graham Potter has confirmed.

Celina was not well enough to take part in training on Thursday, and has been ruled out of the Liberty Stadium meeting with the Millers.

Other than the absence of the Kosovo international the Swans will have the same squad available as for last weekend’s trip to QPR.

“Bersant was ill today so he will not be available for the squad tomorrow, otherwise we are as we were,” said Potter.

“He got the kick at the back end of the Middlesbrough game. He was okay against QPR but not 100 per cent.

“He might have been okay for tomorrow, but the illness has put him out of the game.”

Potter also confirmed that captain Leroy Fer had returned to full training, but this weekend’s games against Rotherham and Ipswich will come too soon for the Dutchman.

“Leroy Fer has trained with the group today, that is really positive, but the game comes too soon for him,” added Potter.
