Chico "very unlikely" to make Wembley

10th February

Swans defender Chico Flores is "very unlikely" to make the Capital One Cup final against Bradford City at Wembley in a fortnight's time.
Chico was stretchered off after 34 minutes in the 4-1 win over QPR at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday with an ankle injury.
He was taken straight to hospital where a scan confirmed that the whole-hearted Spaniard had ruptured ligaments in his right ankle.
"It's difficult at the moment to assess how long he will be out because we need the swelling to go down first,'' explained Swansea's head physio Kate Rees. "But he is very unlikely to make the cup final.''
Chico travelled with the rest of the squad to Dubai this morning for a well-deserved break in the sun. He will receive treatment from the club's medical staff in Dubai before a timescale for his comeback is confirmed.
