Swansea City are continuing to assess Martin Olsson’s hamstring problem ahead of Saturday’s trip to Arsenal.

The left-back limped out of the Swans’ Carabao Cup defeat to Manchester United on Tuesday night.

Initial assessments have revealed that the Swedish international suffered a hamstring strain, and he will undergo a scan before the Arsenal game to determine the extent of the injury.

Should Olsson miss out on the Gunners clash, Swans boss Paul Clement is expected to deploy either Kyle Naughton or Sam Clucas on the left flank of his defence.

The Swans have received some good news over Nathan Dyer, who is expected to be available for the Arsenal game having missed out against United due to a toe problem.

It remains to be seen whether Wilfried Bony (hamstring) and Renato Sanches (thigh) can play any part in North London.
