The Swans travel to Brighton on Saturday as the race to beat the drop heats up.

Carlos Carvalhal’s side look to take their unbeaten streak to 11 games as the Swans make their first trip to the Amex Stadium.

It is another key battle involving two the teams near the relegation zone, with the Swans sitting one point above the bottom three and one adrift of the Seagulls.

The Swans have picked up 11 points from their last five Premier League games – a tally no other team can better in the top flight.

And midfielder Sam Clucas realises the importance of what will be an intriguing battle with Brighton.

“It is the biggest game of the season for us so far. Every next game is like that for us now,” said Clucas.

“We go into every game thinking we need to win this.

“Every result can make a massive difference in the table.

“I feel we owe Brighton one after losing to them at home earlier in the season, so hopefully we will put that right on Saturday.”
