Connor Roberts pens new Swans deal
27th September 2016
Young Swans defender Connor Roberts has signed a new three-year deal with the club.
Roberts, who is currently on loan until January with League One side Bristol Rovers, has committed his future to the Liberty Stadium until June 2019 with a two-year extension.
The Neath-born 21-year-old impressed during a season-long loan at Yeovil last year, playing over 50 games and picking up their Player of the Year award.
His performances also earned him a place on Swansea's first-team tour to America in the summer, although he has yet to figure for Darrell Clarke's side.
"I'm pleased to commit my future to the club for another three years,'' explained Roberts.
"I haven't played yet at Bristol Rovers, but I've just got to keep working hard on the training ground and hope my chance will come.''
