Connor Roberts believes there is plenty more to come from Swansea City on the back of their unbeaten start to the Championship season.

Swansea have taken 10 points from a possible 12 in their first quartet of fixtures, and are among the division’s early pacesetters.

With a number of new signings to bed in on the back of a short pre-season campaign, the fitness, form and understanding of Steve Cooper’s squad is continuing to build.

And that means Wales international Roberts – who featured in Thursday’s friendly against England – feels Swansea have the potential to get better in a number of areas.

"Personally and collectively, I don't think we have played as well as we are capable of in the few games we've played this season,” said the wing-back.

“But it's nice to get the results when you know you can still be better - that's the important thing.

“For example, we know Millwall won't be far off this season, they're a good side and they've got some good players. So it was good to get another win going into the international break.

“Hopefully, we can keep it up for as long as possible but I think we can get better.

“We have to scratch off what’s already been done and start again after the international break."
