Swansea City defender Connor Roberts is doing his bit to spread the Christmas spirit by donating reindeer toys and selection boxes to be distributed to those in need this festive period.

The 25-year-old wanted to give something back to the local community, and made the charitable submission to Blaen-y-Maes Drop In Centre.

The centre is a not-for-profit community organisation based in Blaen-y-Maes, Swansea. It provides support to the surrounding area through distribution of items such as food bags and food bank vouchers.

Over Christmas the centre will be providing hampers and toys to people in need, which will include Connor’s donations.

“A huge thank you to Connor Roberts for his generosity in donating Swansea City reindeers and chocolate selection boxes for our Christmas hampers," said centre volunteer Karen Hughes.

"We are overwhelmed by the donation and the items will be greatly cherished by many individuals and families this Christmas."
