Swansea City head coach Steve Cooper was pleased to see his side get another pre-season win under their belts at Crawley.

The Swans backed up their victory over Mansfield in Portugal, as goals from Nathan Dyer, George Byers and Oli McBurnie helped them to a 3-0 lead at the People's Pension Stadium.

They had to fight off a Crawley revival as Joe McNenery and Filipe Morais netted for the Red Devils.

But the Swans prevailed and Cooper felt there were more positives to take from the showing.

"I was pleased with the game, I thought we played some really good football at times, particularly before all the changes," said Cooper.

"There were some good performances, obviously there are always bits that you want to improve on but that is to be expected of pre-season and that is what you want really because that is how you learn.

"If there are mistakes to be made, now is the time to make them.

"So, overall it has been a very productive day. Some players played 60 minutes and others got 45 so we are continuing to build the fitness levels.

"So we are happy and ready to go for Tuesday against Yeovil."
