Cyril and Cybil challenge West Brom after soaking

28th August

Swansea mascots Cyril and Cybil Swan took on the Ice Bucket Challenge at the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday night after being nominated by a fan.
At the half-time interval during Garry Monk's side's Capital One Cup tie with Rotherham United, both mascots were drenched in ice cold water for charity.
And after completing the challenge, Cyril and Cybil decided to break new ground by being the first to nominate a fellow mascot by inviting West Brom's Baggie Bird to take on the test.
Cyril and Cybil's nomination was accepted by the West Brom mascot, who will take on the challenge on Friday, ahead of the Baggies' visit to the Liberty Stadium on Saturday (August 30, 3pm).

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has taken social media by storm this month in raising awareness and money to battle the disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
People are encouraged to participate and donate money to help fund research for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
So far, Swans players, such as Neil Taylor and Jazz Richards, club ambassador Lee Trundle and manager Garry Monk have all been nominated and taken on the challenge for charity.
