Daniel James Swansea City under-23s

7th February

Daniel James expressed his delight at making his return from injury with Swansea City Under-23s this week.
The 19-year-old winger came off the bench to feature for 30 minutes in the Premier League 2 defeat against Brighton on Monday.
The Wales Under-21 international has been out of action for almost a month since sustaining a hamstring injury in the Checkatrade Trophy victory over Wolves in early January.
"It was great to make my return from injury and get some game time under my belt," he said.
"I feel confident now I have got some minutes and I am looking forward to coming back fitter and stronger for the rest of the season.
"I was disappointed to miss out on the last few games with the team. It was not a great result for us against Brighton this week. I think we did well in the second half and deserved to get more out of the game.
"Recent defeats mean we are suffering a bit of a blip to our season. It is impossible for a winning run to last forever, but it is important we return to form soon.
"I think we have the quality in the squad to come back stronger and push for the title in the coming weeks."
