Davies hails wonderful week

22nd September

Ben Davies hailed another professional display as Swansea City signed off a successful week with a 2-0 win at Crystal Palace.
After being held at home to Liverpool on Monday, the Swans followed that up with a 3-0 victory at Valencia in the Europa League.
And a comfortable win at Selhurst Park thanks to goals from Michu and Nathan Dyer ensured Michael Laudrup's side completed a hugely positive seven days.
Michu's strike after 80 seconds - the fastest goal in the Barclays Premier League this season - sent the Swans on their way before Dyer's 48th minute effort made it three consecutive away wins for the Swans in all competitions.
It also sent them into the top half of the table, and Davies felt it was a job well done.

"It was a very professional display - it was a performance that deserved all three points," said the Wales left-back, who returned to the starting line-up after being among the substitutes at the Mestalla.
"There were never any issues of fatigue being a problem for us.
"The manager made five changes to the starting XI, but we have a good squad of players and everything is put in place for us to recover from games like Valencia and be ready for games at the weekend.
"We have a strong squad. We have players the manager can chop and change, and that's great for the team.
"And I think that really paid off for us today.
"We always go onto the pitch looking to be at our best from the first whistle, and that's what we did today.
"On top of that, we prevented them from creating any real chances, so that was very pleasing.
"It's been a very good week for us."
