Davies sidelined by ankle injury

23rd October

Swans defender Ben Davies is expected to be out of action for three to four weeks with a badly sprained ankle.
The Wales left-back picked up the injury during the first half of Saturday's 4-0 win over Sunderland in the Barclays Premier League, and he was later replaced by Neil Taylor in the second half.
Davies has scored twice in 12 appearances this season under Michael Laudrup, and the 20-year will now undergo treatment in order to return as quickly as possible.
"I went up for a challenge in their box early in the first half and I landed awkwardly," explained Davies. "I managed to play on for nearly 30 minutes but I knew I had to come off.
"I am disappointed but I just have to do my rehab now and come back as soon as possible."
