ON THIS DAY: Bauza brace clinches cup victory

10th November

Billericay 1-2 Swans
FA Cup - Saturday, November 10, 2007
A Guillem Bauza brace saved the Swans from a shock FA Cup defeat as they saw off Ryman Premier side Billericay.
Despite seeing Andrea Orlandi's early effort cleared off the line, the non-league hosts held a 1-0 lead at the break courtesy of Wayne Semanshia's strike.
The Swans were back on level terms by the hour mark as Bauza curled home from 25 yards.
And any hopes of a giantkilling was ended by the Spaniard with seven minutes left as Roberto Martinez's side edged a closely-fought encounter at New Lodge.
