Swans 4-2 Bournemouth
League One - Friday, November 3, 2006
A six-goal thriller saw the Swans survive a late Bournemouth barrage to clinch three points at the Liberty.
Kenny Jackett's side were cruising to victory as they led 3-0 by the hour mark courtesy of Izzy Iriekpen's early strike on top of a Rory Fallon brace.
The Cherries, though, struck twice in six minutes late on through Danny Hollands and Brett Pitman to make it 3-2, but Lee Trundle fired home the Swans' fourth to seal victory.
The Swans would end the season in seventh place - three points off Oldham, who filled the final play-off position.
Scunthorpe, Bristol City and Blackpool were promoted while Chesterfield, Bradford, Rotherham and Brentford were relegated.
