ON THIS DAY: Swans cruise to away win

12th January

Luton Town 1-3 Swansea City
League One: Saturday, January 12, 2008

League One leaders Swansea City continued their march towards promotion following a fine 3-1 win at cash-strapped Luton Town.
Roberto Martinez's side were ahead after just five minutes as Andy Robinson's shot was turned into his own net by Keith Keane.
Luton, who were going through administration at the time, fell further behind just past the hour as the Swans - who were dominant throughout - added another via Guillem Bauza after the Spaniard finished off a flowing five-man move.
Veteran forward Paul Furlong pulled one back for the hosts, but it was mere consolation as Jason Scotland's 20-yard drive sealed victory with eight minutes left.
