Michel Vorm and Jonathan De Guzman helped Netherlands become the joint first European nation to qualify for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Vorm played the full 90 minutes for the Dutch side as they beat Andorra 2-0 away from home, while De Guzman was an unused substitute.

Two early second-half strikes from the prolific Robin Van Persie gave the Netherlands the victory, taking the Dutch to 22 points at the top of Group D.

Meanwhile, Ben Davies featured for Wales as they suffered a 3-0 defeat to Serbia, in Cardiff, courtesy of goals from Filip Djordjevic, Aleksandar Kolarov and Lazar Markovic.

On the Under-21 stage, Jordi Amat lined up for Spain as a brace from Iker Muniain, and goals from Alvaro Morata and Jese Rodriguez earned them a 4-0 victory over Albania.

Finally, on Saturday, Wilfried Bony made a second-half appearance for Ivory Coast as they progressed to the FIFA World Cup play-offs, despite only managing a 1-1 draw with Morocco.
