Nathan Dyer is dreaming of completing a domestic trophy treble after helping the Swans reach the FA Cup quarter-final for the first time in 54 years.

Dyer scored the Swans’ second goal on Tuesday night as Carlos Carvalhal’s side saw off Sheffield Wednesday in their FA Cup replay at the Liberty.

The win means the Swans are in the hat for the last eight for the first time since 1964, with either Tottenham Hotspur or Rochdale awaiting them in the next round.

And Dyer, who has lifted the Premier League title with Leicester City and the League Cup with the Swans, now hopes to add the FA Cup to his haul of silverware.

“We want to go as far as we can. We are through to the quarter-finals and there is a lot to play for in this tournament,” said the 30-year-old.

“Reaching the final of this cup would be an amazing achievement for us. We have won the Championship play-off final at Wembley along with the League Cup, so we have fond memories of playing there.

“For me, to win the Premier League, League Cup and FA Cup would be an incredible achievement.

“Right now though, everyone is focusing on Saturday’s game with West Ham and improving our league position.”
