Dyer's relishing Liberty return

5th August

Nathan Dyer is relishing the prospect of a return to the Liberty as he prepares to run out in SA1 for the first time in a year.
Dyer is back at Swansea City having spent the majority of last season on loan at Leicester.
And the wideman cannot wait to feature as Francesco Guidolin's side take on Stade Rennais in their final pre-season friendly on Saturday (3pm).
"I went out on loan last season for football reasons - I felt I wasn't going to be involved in the team," Dyer said.
"But I'm back now. Pre-season has gone very well and I'm looking forward to walking into the stadium again and playing in front of the fans.
"I've got some amazing memories of playing at the Liberty and I can't wait to get on the pitch and savour the atmosphere again."

Dyer has so impressed Guidolin since returning to Wales that he has just been handed a new four-year contract.
Now the 28-year-old, who reckons he is a better player as a result of his remarkable stint at Leicester, is hoping to recapture his best form in a Swans shirt.
"There is a bit more maturity in my game now," he added.
"I want to get back to the way I was a couple of years ago.
I've felt good in pre-season - we've worked hard running-wise and in the gym.
"I'm looking forward to giving everything I've got."

As well as the returning Dyer, Guidolin's new recruits are hoping for some game-time this weekend.
The visit of Stade Rennais represents a final opportunity for some fine-tuning ahead of the Premier League opener at Burnley.
"The new signings who have come in are really down-to-earth, nice guys," Dyer said.
"They've gelled quickly with the boys and I've done the same with them.
"Everyone seems together and close-knit. Hopefully we can take that out on the pitch and work together and for each other. I'm excited by the squad we have here."
