'Everything is possible'

Carlos Carvalhal has told his players that "nothing is impossible" ahead of Swansea City's Premier League clash with Liverpool at the Liberty tonight (8pm).

The Swans are currently bottom of the Premier League table having collected 17 points from 23 games so far this season.

However, fortunes have improved since the appointment of Carvalhal, who has overseen just one defeat in his five matches since succeeding Paul Clement in SA1.

The Swans boss is under no illusions as to the size of the task that lies ahead – but is confident that he can turn things around.

“We know that we have a big challenge on our hands,” he says. “But, if you wish, anything can happen.

“I believe that nothing is impossible. I cannot remember ever going into a game to play for a draw.

“I always try to find the weaknesses of our opponents and get my players to focus on them.

“In all games, whoever we play, we will try to win. That is the way forward.”
