Fabianski earns more plaudits after fine campaign

Lukasz Fabianski has been statistically named as the best goalkeeper in Europe by WhoScored.com in their star-studded European Team of the Year.
Fabianski is in esteemed company - with Chelsea star Eden Hazard the only other English top-flight representative - in a side including the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Poland international, who is currently preparing for a Euro 2016 qualifier against Georgia, has been selected as statistically the top goalkeeper across Europe's five main leagues - the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, the Bundesliga and Ligue 1.
Fabianski, who arrived of a free transfer from Arsenal last summer, enjoyed a superb debut season at the Liberty Stadium, keeping 13 clean sheets as Garry Monk's side finished eighth in the Barclays Premier League.
