Fabianski: Swans on red alert for United clash

29th August

Lukasz Fabianski insists the Swans will be on red alert as they look to contain Manchester United's firepower this weekend.
Louis Van Gaal's side visit the Liberty on Sunday (4pm) on the back of a 4-0 win in Brugge as the Red Devils qualified for the Champions League group stage.
Wayne Rooney stole the headlines in Belgium with a hat-trick, but Fabianski believes United will pose a number of different threats to the Swans.
"Rooney's got massive quality and his position has changed as little so you must be given time to adapt, but he's got to be respected because he gives a lot for his team," said the Polish international.
"Their goal threat is spread around a few players - Depay, Mata, Januzaj, Fellaini - not just Rooney. They have a lot of attacking threats and we have to do our best to keep them as quiet as possible."

Sunday's encounter - live on Sky Sports - sees two unbeaten teams go head-to-head in SA1.
Garry Monk's side started with a hugely encouraging 2-2 draw at defending champions Chelsea before a victory over Newcastle as followed up with another away point at Sunderland.
United, meanwhile, have beaten Tottenham and Aston Villa 1-0 before a goalless draw with Newcastle last weekend.
The Swans had the edge over United last season, clinching a first ever league double over the 20-times league champions.
But Fabianski believes Van Gaal's summer recruitment has made them a more formidable outfit this season.
"They look a better team this season. They have been very solid defensively - they haven't conceded a goal in three league games so far," said Fabianski.
"We must compete with them, put them under pressure and stick to our plan.
"We want to be in control of the game, and hopefully this will be another memorable day for the fans."
