Fabianski: We must bounce back

31st December

Lukasz Fabianski insists Swansea City will be looking to bounce back to winning ways when they face Queens Park Rangers on New Year's Day.
The Swans ended 2014 on a disappointing note with a 4-1 defeat against Liverpool at Anfield on Monday night.
On a tough night on Merseyside, the home side took the lead through Alberto Moreno before Fabianski's clearance early in the second half cannoned off Adam Lallana and into an empty net.
Gylfi Sigurdsson pulled one back for the visitors before Lallana scored a second and Jonjo Shelvey's own goal sealed all three points for the hosts.
But Fabianksi says the squad will be raring to go when they travel to Loftus Road and kick off a new calendar year.
"We now head into the QPR game looking to get maximum points," he said.
"The best response we can give is to bounce back, but we'll prepare well and hopefully put on a good performance.
"We are disappointed with the Liverpool result. And obviously I'm disappointed with myself for the mistake which gave them a goal.
"It was a bad decision to kick across instead of straight down the middle, and that is one that I'll learn from in the future."
