Federico Fernandez takes centre-stage in Jack Magazine

29th August

Swans new boy Federico Fernandez takes centre-stage in this weekend's 84-page edition of Jack Magazine as the Swans host West Brom at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday (3pm).

In an exclusive interview with Swansea City's official matchday programme, the Argentina international tells Jack Magazine about hitting the books in his spare time, improving as a player and completing his "dream" move to the Barclays Premier League.

"It was a big step moving to Europe at a young age, but I felt it was the right time to do so," said Fernandez.

"It was important for me because I wanted to further my development as a football player. I wanted to learn about Italian football, which is a lot different to football in Argentina.

"I have learned a lot from playing in Argentina and in Italy, and now I want to learn even more in the Premier League.

"It has always been a dream for me to move to the Premier League, and I am so happy to have achieved that dream. I want to stay at this level because I believe it is the top level in the world right now."

Also in this weekend's jam-packed Jack Magazine, Neil Taylor features in 'My Dream XI' as he runs us through who would make his ideal starting line-up from the players he has played with and against throughout his career.

Meanwhile, club ambassador Lee Trundle gives us the lowdown on his exploits in the community, Gerhard Tremmel goes under the spotlight in 'Team-mates', and Colin Irwin features in this week's 'Top Flight Jacks'.

And if that wasn't enough, we have plenty more in store, including an in-depth insight into Saturday's opponents West Brom, as well as a brand new feature named 'Head 2 Head', which compares season stats between the  Baggies and the Swans - a must read for any football fan with a love of statistics.

This weekend's Jack Magazine will be available for just £3 on matchday from around the Liberty Stadium, the Club Shop and online.

It will also be available in Slee Stores in Plasmari, Coggers on Wind Street and Browns Newsagent in Landore.

Jack Magazine really is a must-have for any Swans fan. Don't miss out.
