Free food and drink for Swans fans

​​​​​​​Swans fans with FA Cup fever travelling to Sheffield Wednesday for the fifth-round tie will be suitably refreshed courtesy of Swansea City.

The club has agreed to pay for complimentary food and drink for every Swans fan making the trip to Hillsborough on Saturday, February 17, for the early kick-off (12.30pm).

Fans will receive a £6.50 meal deal voucher at the turnstiles which can be redeemed in the concourse food outlets before and during the game as a thank you to those making the long trip and for their support throughout the season.

There will be a special meal deal on offer in exchange for the £6.50 voucher which includes a pie, crisps, cake bar or chocolate bar, plus a hot or soft drink. Alternatively, supporters can add £1.50 for a speciality pint of ‘The Swan’ pale ale.

Manager Carlos Carvalhal will be looking for vociferous support from the Jack Army as he makes his return to his former club with a quarter-final place at stake.

Tickets for the Emirates FA Cup tie are on general sale from 10am this morning and are discounted for season ticket holders and Jack Army members if purchased prior to matchday.

Under-11s – £1 (no booking fee charged)

Jack Army members will be awarded three points for this fixture.

 

*Swans fans are informed that new ticket office booking fees are now in operation. A booking fee of £1.25 per ticket purchased online, or £2.50 per ticket purchased by phone or in person, will be applied.

There will be no booking fee for under-11s tickets for season ticket holders and Jack Army members. This fee will be removed at checkout for tickets purchased online.

The £6.50 meal deal vouchers will be issued under the following guidelines:

  • The voucher must be redeemed in one transaction and no change will be issued;
  • Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • Vouchers are only redeemable at kiosks inside the stadium;
  • Tickets will be issued at turnstiles when entering the stadium and supporters are advised to leave sufficient time to queue for entry.
