Giancarlo Gallifuoco hailed the Under-21s' fighting spirit after they were crowned champions following victory over Huddersfield.
The young Swans secured a 3-2 win at the Liberty Stadium in Wednesday's play-off final, meaning the development squad ended the season as title winners.
It capped a positive ten months for the squad, who have enjoyed a fine campaign and even went 15 games unbeaten at one stage.
The Swans were 2-0 down in the semi-final against Nottingham Forest before coming back to win on penalties, while they also came from a goal down against Huddersfield to secure the title.
"I think we deserve it after the performances we have put in all season and I am happy we got the title we deserve," said Gallifuoco.
"This season has played out perfectly for the Under-21s; we knew it would be difficult but everyone has stepped up and delivered.
"Even though we went a goal down we had the belief that we would score, get back into the game and eventually win.
"To hold the trophy was a mix of pride and satisfaction, and it was the perfect end to the season."
Gallifuoco arrived at the Liberty Stadium from Tottenham last August and have been ever-present for the Under-21s this season.
"It has been a dream," said the Australia Under-23 international. "I have been very lucky that the coaches have worked hard with me to make sure I settled in quickly.
"When I first arrived Garry Monk said the first team was in reach if I keep working hard and that is what I have to keep doing.
"I have my short and long-term goals for next season but I just need to keep working hard on the pitch."
