Garry Monk aiming for repeat Anfield success

27th October

Garry Monk is hoping his side can enjoy a repeat of their Anfield heroics of 2012 when they travel to Liverpool on Tuesday night.
The Swans make the trip to Merseyside to face Brendan Rodgers' side in the fourth round of the Capital One Cup.
Last time the two sides met in the domestic competition, the Swans produced a majestic performance at Anfield beat the Reds 3-1.
And despite acknowledging the difficulty of the task ahead, Monk is hoping for more of the same this time round.
"They're a good team, and it's a game we're really excited about," said the Swans boss.
"Liverpool will be favourites, but hopefully we can put on a performance that will make everyone proud.
"We go there with nothing to lose. Anfield is always a special place to play, where we did well in the cup game we played there before. Hopefully we can have that sort of performance again.
"It's a cup that we've done very well in, having won it recently. We're taking it very seriously because we want to do well in the competition again."
