Guidolin pays tribute to Cruyff

24th March

Swansea City head coach Francesco Guidolin has paid tribute to the great Johan Cruyff, who sadly passed away today.
The Dutch legend died of cancer, aged 68.
Cryuff was named European footballer of the year on three occasions, while he also won three consecutive European Cups with Ajax from 1971. Three years later he helped Holland reach the World Cup final, where they were beaten by West Germany.
He went on to coach Barcelona, whom he helped win the European Cup for their first time in 1992.
"He was my idol growing up," said Francesco. "He will always remain a legend in my eyes and his memory will live on forever."
