Gylfi looking to end "fantastic" week on a high

18th October

Gylfi Sigurdsson insists this is his best start to season and is hoping he can cap his "fantastic" week with victory at Stoke on Sunday (4pm).
The midfielder continued his recent good form during the international break as Iceland made it three wins out of three in their qualifying group for Euro 2016.
After a 3-0 win over Turkey back in September, Sigurdsson and co beat Latvia by the same scoreline before producing an impressive performance to stun Holland in Reykjavik.
The Swans star netted twice against the Oranje to take his tally to six goals for club and country so far this season, while the 25-year-old has also produced six assists in that time.
"It's been a very good week," he said. "We picked up six points and beat Holland, which is probably the best result the Icelandic team has ever had. I managed to score three goals as well so I was really pleased.
"We knew it wouldn't be easy to beat Holland but we did that and it was fantastic - hopefully we can pick up a few more points and go all the way to France."
He added: "This is my best start to a season. I'm really enjoying my football, I'm playing most of the games and playing in my favoured position.
"I'd like to score a few more goals, but as long as the team is winning then it isn't too bad."
The Swans now face Stoke on Sunday at a ground where they are yet to taste victory in the Premier League.
Garry Monk's side lost twice at the Britannia Stadium before earning a credible 1-1 draw back in February.
"It's probably one of the toughest away grounds you can go to," said Sigurdsson. "They (Stoke) are always physical, but they can play football too.
"The draw against Newcastle last time out was disappointing so hopefully we can bounce back from that on Sunday."
