Harries thanks Jack Army

4th May

Cian Harries has thanked Swansea City fans for the support they have given the development squad throughout the season.

The under-23s narrowly missed out on back-to-back Premier League Cup titles losing 4-1 on penalties following a 0-0 draw after extra-time at Liberty Stadium.

Harries has captained the development squad since January but saw his side fall just short of ending another encouraging campaign with a cup victory.

“We are disappointed. It is not easy to lose but I am proud of what the team has achieved this season,” Harris said.

“There are a lot of positives to take this season. Tonight, the fans were brilliant.

“Even at the end they stayed to support us and applaud.

“You could hear their support when we were creating chances and the relief when they missed a couple.

“Their support really did help and I want to thank them on behalf of the team for their support.

“We have been very grateful for all the support they have given us this season.”
