Ki Sung-Yueng lost out in the international battle of the Swansea City stars as South Korea were beaten 3-2 in Poland.

The Swans midfielder played 80 minutes as the South Koreans went down to a last-gasp goal in the Polish city of Chorzow.

Club-mate Lukasz Fabianski watched on from the bench, meantime, as the Poles gave game-time to two other keepers.

Fabianski had featured in the 1-0 defeat to Nigeria last Friday.

Swedish duo Martin Olsson and Kristoffer Nordfeldt both played 90 minutes against Chile over the weekend, but they were unused substitutes as the Swedes lost 1-0 in Romania on Tuesday night.

Alfie Mawson was another Swan who did not make it off the bench as England drew 1-1 with Italy, and it was the same story for Tammy Abraham.

The striker played against Romania on Saturday, but he did not see any action as the England Under-21s saw off Ukraine in Sheffield on Tuesday.

After starting against Costa Rica on Saturday, Oli McBurnie won his second Scotland cap in Hungary.

The forward, who is on loan at Barnsley, came on for the last six minutes as the Scots won 1-0.
