Jack Of the Month - our first winner

27th September

As part of our initiative to give back to our loyal supporters, the Swans are launching a brand new award to thank fans for their devoted support of the club.
Every month, the Swans will select an individual who has shown extra-special support for Swansea City as our 'Jack of the Month'.
The award for September has been given to Jonathan Price, 41, who has an outstanding collection of Swans memorabilia, and has also helped the club on many occasions.

Jonathan, who is the owner of shoe repair shop Dorian Heel Bar, has customised the football boots of many past and present Swansea players, including the likes of Lee Trundle and Angel Rangel.
In return for his services, Jonathan has never asked for payment, but he has enquired if players could donate their football shirts and boots for his collection.
In total, the shop owner has received in excess of 60 boots from Swansea heroes, such as pairs worn by the likes of Alan Curtis, Trundle and Leon Britton.
Jonathan has experienced many highs and lows during his time as a Swans supporter, but he picked the 1-0 FA Cup victory against West Ham in 1999 as one of his personal highlights.
He said: "One of my favourite games was the West Ham 1-0 in the FA Cup, when Martin Thomas scored.
"That was a great game because they had Ferdinand, Hartson and Lampard. There was such a good atmosphere; it was brilliant."
Jonathan has also come to the rescue of the Swans as recently as this season, when Swansea welcomed the visit of Malmo in the Europa League.
The club needed shirts printed at the eleventh hour before kick-off, and Jonathan managed to print the shirts at his shop, just in time for the game.

If you are a huge Swans supporter, like Jonathan, you can nominate yourself for October's Jack of the Month by e-mailing us your story at jackofthemonth@swanseacityfc.co.uk
The club would like to thank you for your passionate and loyal support.
