Jazz set for Terriers loan

10th September

Swans full-back Jazz Richards looks set to join Huddersfield Town on a three-month loan deal.

The Welsh international, who enjoyed a loan spell at Crystal Palace last season, travelled to meet the Championship club today and both clubs hope to complete the paperwork by the end of the week.

Richards, 22, is expected to fill the void at right-back vacated by Jack Hunt who joined Premier League Crystal Palace during the recent transfer window.

Huddersfield Town Manager Mark Robins said: "Jazz is exactly the type of player we have here at the club. He is young, but has good experience of the Championship with Swansea City and last season's loan at Crystal Palace and is hungry for more.

"Swansea play good passing football and he fits the mould when it comes to playing in our side. He has a lot of quality both technically and physically and we're delighted to have him at the club."
