Jordi Amat: Swansea City ready for "crucial month"

2nd December

Jordi Amat has spelt out the Swans' desire to build on their hard work during a "crucial month" of Premier League fixtures.
Bob Bradley tasted his first success as Swans boss last weekend as his side came out on top during a pulsating 5-4 victory over Crystal Palace at the Liberty.
That came on the back of a point banked at Everton, which saw the Swans denied all three points courtesy of a last-gasp equaliser.
Now Bradley and co are preparing for a busy month ahead as the festive fixtures include games against Sunderland, West Brom, Middlesbrough, West Ham and Bournemouth.
First up, though, is a trip to Tottenham Hotspur as the Swans visit a ground where they are yet to pick up a Premier League point.
And Amat believes the squad are making progress as they look to climb out of the relegation zone.

"December is a crucial month for us," said the centre-back. "We are close to getting out of the relegation zone, so that is the target for now.
"We will fight to get as many points as we need.
"We were unlucky at Everton to only take a point, but to win the game against Crystal Palace and pick up four points from those two games is a step forward.
"We know there is a lot of hard work ahead, but the squad are determined to continue this good run and move the club up the table."
