Jordon Garrick doubtful for Wycombe trip
Jordon Garrick is a doubt for Swansea City’s trip to Wycombe, while George Byers will again miss out this weekend.
Winger Garrick has not been involved in a Championship matchday squad this season after missing out on minutes during pre-season.
He featured for the under-23s last week to get game time under his belt, but head coach Steve Cooper has revealed he has picked up a groin problem and was unable to train on Thursday.
Byers, meanwhile, is continuing to recover from a groin issue of his own, with Cooper expecting the midfielder to still be a few weeks away from a return.
“George is continuing to improve, but he is a still a while off being back in training,” said the Swansea boss.
“Jordon Garrick is nursing a groin problem, so that could go either way.
“He did not train today and in an ideal world we want players to be out training two days before a matchday.
“Apart from that we are healthy, and we are getting fitter and stronger as the weeks come and go.
“We are looking forward to the game on the weekend.”
