Just one week left until SwansAid applications close

26th March

Local charities, organisations and disability groups have just one week to apply for the chance to win a cash grant from SwansAid.
Since SwansAid's introduction in September 2013, the grant scheme - run by Swans Community Trust - has helped us support a variety of charities and community organisations across South West Wales.
So far this year Swans Community Trust has awarded cheques to Swansea Gymnastics Centre, Llangennech AFC, Circus Eruption, Therapy for Swansea Kids and Autistic Spectrum Disorder Employment Support with sports kit also awarded to five local sports teams.
Whether the need is for adapted bikes in Carmarthen, or Judo mats in Gendros or new football kits in Killay, if your organisation supports children, young people or disabled people to live active lives - SwansAid may be able to help.
•    Round four will allocate up to another £25,000. That breaks down into:
1.    One large grant of £10,000
2.    Six small grants of £2,000
3.    Sets of kit for children and young people's community sporting clubs

If your group operates within Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire, and you work with children, young people or disabled people, then you may be eligible to apply.
Details about the fund, eligibility and how to apply can be found at www.swansacademy.co.uk or www.swanscommercial.co.uk
Deadline for this round of applications is Thursday, April 2.
