Keston Davies contract extension

27th January

Swansea City defender Keston Davies has signed a one-year contract extension that will see him stay at the Liberty Stadium until June 2019.
The 20-year-old centre-back joined the club's academy system since he was eight, with brief stints at Fulham and Manchester City's academies before continuing his development with the Swans.
The under-23s' captain has been ever present at the heart of the under-23s' defence this season featuring 24 times, including six outings in this seasons Checkatrade Trophy.
"I am over the moon to have extended my contract," said Davies. "A new deal only gives me more confidence that the club has faith in me to deliver.
"It is a privilege to be here and I want to continue to push on and progress my development. The main aim for me now is to help the side win the league this campaign, and hopefully next season I can gain some opportunities with the first team.
"This is my home town and there is no better feeling than playing for the club you grew up supporting."
