Ki close to Asian Cup glory

26th January

Ki Sung-Yueng is just one victory away from becoming the first South Korea captain to lift the Asian Cup in 55 years.
The Swans midfielder led his nation to a 2-0 win over Iraq in the semi-final this morning, with goals from Lee Jeong-hyeop and Kim Young-gwon sealing their first final appearance since 1988.
South Korea, who haven't won the Asian Cup since 1960, will face the winners of the clash between hosts Australia and United Arab Emirates, who play on Tuesday.
The final will take place at Sydney's Stadium Australia on Saturday.
