Ki lauds "quality" Gomis

4th April

Ki Sung-Yueng hailed Bafe Gomis' "quality" performance after the French striker scored twice to help the Swans beat Hull City 3-1 at the Liberty Stadium.
After Ki opened the scoring for the Swans in the 18th minute, Gomis scored two stunning efforts either side of half-time, while Paul McShane tapped home Hull's only goal of the afternoon.

"We always believe in Bafe," said Ki. "He is a quality player and he has been brilliant in training.
"He has already shown in the French league that he scores a lot of goals. Of course he needs time to adapt to the English league, and now the way he plays gives us a lot of confidence.
"People have already seen his quality, like in our last game against Villa and then today, especially. "Other than his goals, the way he played was also excellent. He kept the ball and held it up well.
"I think he has found his form and his confidence, so I think he will score even more to help the team."
And the South Korea captain is now targeting another home victory when the Swans host Everton in SA1 next weekend as they close in on their best-ever Premier League points total.
"Yes, it would be great to break the points record at the Liberty," he added. "It won't be an easy game against Everton, but we have to fight for ourselves and for the fans as well.
"We have a lot of confidence at the moment, and we will keep going until the end of the season."
