Ki Sung-Yueng is edging closer to a Swansea City comeback after rejoining full training.

Ki has not played this season after picking up a knee injury while on international duty in the summer.

The South Korea skipper was ruled out for three months after undergoing surgery on the problem, but is now within sight of a playing comeback.

“Ki rejoined training today,” said Swans boss Paul Clement.

“It’s too soon for him to be involved in the matchday squad, but it’s very positive to see him back.

“We will see how he goes in training, but he is aiming to play for the under-23s against Celtic (on September 30).”
