Kingsley goes under the Jack Magazine spotlight
26th August
With the Swans in Capital One Cup action against Rotherham United at the Liberty tonight (7.45pm), don't forget to pick up your copy of Jack Magazine.
As part of the main feature in the 24-page edition, we speak to young left-back Stephen Kingsley on the key aspects that helped book his dream ticket to the Premier League following his move from Falkirk this summer.
"There have been many players I've grown up with who have been brilliant at football but have fallen by the wayside because they don't have the right attitude or they are lacking in another area," said Kingsley.
"I was with my boys club until I was about ten before joining Falkirk. I was always training. Even away from football, I was always out, playing with my pals in the street.
"It can be difficult as a youngster moving up through the ranks, because there are players - your friends - that don't make it.
"For me, it has always been about staying focused and working hard for my chance."
Also in tonight's Jack Magazine, which costs just £1, we have something to suit everyone including an interview with celebrity Rotherham fans the Chuckle Brothers.
We also chat to former Swans and Rotherham defender Alan Knill while we also analyse tonight's opponents, who have settled into the Championship after winning the League One Play-Off final last season.
So don't miss out on your copy, available from around the Liberty Stadium and the Club Shop.
