Korey Smith says Swansea City are desperate to deliver for the large contingent of travelling Jacks making their way to Blackpool this weekend.

The Swans picked up a first away win since November in the last game on their travels at West Brom, and will be looking to back that up against the Seasiders, who have enjoyed an impressive return to Championship level this term.

Well over 1,500 Swans fans will be at Bloomfield Road for Saturday’s 3pm kick-off, and midfielder Smith wants the visitors to produce another performance that will yield a positive result outside of SA1.

“We always have such great backing home and away, and we know our supporters travel in great numbers to cheer us on,” said Smith.

“We really appreciate the efforts they go to, and the money they spend on backing us and travelling such a long way.

“Without a doubt, we will be looking to get back to winning ways, and make sure we follow up a good win at West Brom with another improved performance away from home.

“We’ll recover well and get ready to go again.”
