Laudrup: That's Moore like it

10th April

Michael Laudrup has hailed Luke Moore's recent form in front of goal, insisting the striker's confidence will be boosted after his latest scoring antics.

Moore found the net for the third time in his last four appearances when he earned the Swans a point by grabbing a 75th-minute equaliser at Norwich last weekend.

It took the striker's tally this season up to five in 18 appearances, and Laudrup was full of praise for the 27-year-old's recent run in front of goal.

"It's important for him to score goals because it gives confidence and that's what you need," said the Swans boss.

"You need it in every position, but especially when you play there. He plays up there - he has to be a goalscorer.

"It's important because in the last four games he scored an important winning goal v Newcastle, scored v West Brom and now at Norwich."
