Leon sets new target

13th May

Leon Britton has hailed the Swans achievement of guaranteeing a top-ten finish in the Barclays Premier League, then laid down the challenge of pinching eighth place.
Results over the weekend ensured Michael Laudrup and Co will be positioned in the top ten within the Premier League regardless of results on the final day of the season this Sunday.
The Swans host Fulham at the Liberty knowing victory over the Cottagers and anything but a win for West Brom against champions Manchester United would see the Capital One Cup winners finish in eighth place.
And Britton insisted the squad are determined to end the season on a high as a thank you to the Jack Army for their phenomenal support throughout the campaign.
"To finish in the top ten of the Premier League is a great achievement," beamed Britton.
"We have got a chance to finish eighth, and that's what we are going for now.
"It's going to be tough against Fulham, but if we win and results go our way then we can finish eighth.
"The last game of the season is not going to be an easy day for us - we have a lot to play for.
"If we don't finish eighth then it will still have been a great season, but hopefully we can give the fans something to cheer about on the last game of the season because they have been fantastic once again.
"Home and away, they turn up in numbers and they deserve a performance from us."
