Let's look forward, says Fabianski

Lukasz Fabianski has urged Swansea City to focus on the challenges ahead following their 4-0 defeat by Premier League leaders Manchester City.

The Swans were well beaten by the high-flying Citizens, who made Premier League history at the Liberty by recording their 15th consecutive top-flight victory.

But Swans keeper Fabianski has called on his team-mates to do all they can to bounce back in their next two matches.

Paul Clement's men go to Goodison Park to face a rejuvenated Everton on Monday before a crucial clash against fellow strugglers Crystal Palace in SA1 on the Saturday before Christmas.

“Nobody really expected us to get anything against Manchester City, but we tried our best,” Fabianski said.

“They are a real quality team and we saw that.

“I think we did well until the first goal went in. Once we conceded, we lost our confidence and they punished us again.

“The next two games are more important because they are against sides that are closer to us.

“Everton is a massive game and we want to go there and get something out of it. Then we have Crystal Palace which will also be a huge game for us.”
