Liberty lands sports venue gong

The Liberty Stadium - home of the Swans - has been named the Sports Venue of the Year by the Welsh Hospitality Awards.
The award celebrates those venues which provide the best hospitality experiences through a range of different events; football and rugby games, music concerts and conference and events. The Liberty beat off competition from The Principality Stadium, Cardiff City Stadium and Swalec Stadium.
The award was nominated by the general public and judged by a panel of industry experts.
Catherine Thomas, Customer Services Manager, said: "At the Liberty Stadium we work collectively with Swansea City, the Ospreys and Compass Group and are constantly striving to make the Liberty Stadium the best venue in Wales for all different types of hospitality.
"We are very proud of this award and to be recognised in such a prestigious awards ceremony is credit to everyone who represents the Liberty Stadium from employees, partners, guests and supporters who all work tirelessly to continue to make the Liberty Stadium a success."
