Lita leaves on loan

25th January

Swans striker Leroy Lita has joined Championship club Sheffield Wednesday on loan until the end of the season.
Lita agreed the move today and could go straight into the squad for their fixture at Charlton on Saturday.
The Owls, managed by former Cardiff City boss Dave Jones, are currently one place off the relegation zone.
Lita, a £1.75million signing from Middlesbrough in August 2011, has failed to force his way into manager Michael Laudrup's plans this season.
Although he has yet to make a league appearance this season, he made 10 league starts on loan at Birmingham earlier in the campaign, scoring three goals.
Meanwhile, Daniel Alfei has extended his loan at Blue Square Premier outfit Wrexham until the end of the season.
The Welsh Under-21 full-back, who also spent a spell on loan at the Racecourse last season, returned to Wrexham in October. He was set to stay until the end of January, but will now remain until the end of the campaign as the club continues its push for promotion back to the Football League.
