Llewellyn hails squad's character

22nd September

Chris Llewellyn hailed the character of his players after the Swans Under-21s twice came from behind to earn a draw against Sheffield United on Monday night.
After going behind early on, the Swans hit back through Henry Jones's finish following good work from Modou Barrow.
Sheffield United restored their lead before the interval before substitute Ryan Hedges struck with five minutes to play to make it 2-2.
And the hosts came close to sealing all three points when Hedges saw his goal bound shot cleared off the line in stoppage time.
"It was pleasing to come back twice in the game," said Llewellyn. "We showed a lot of character, and we could have won the game as we created a lot of chances again.
"There were a lot of positives to come out of it and we responded well to going behind twice.
"We finished the game strongly and that is good to see. The players were disappointed afterwards, not with the performance but they knew we had done enough to win.
"Our performances have been good. We haven't got the points on the board that we feel we deserved, but if we keep playing like that then I'm sure the results will come."
