Ryan Hedges proved the difference as Yeovil beat Wycombe in League Two.
The 21-year-old netted the only goal after 36 minutes at Huish Park as Darren Way's side moved up to 18th in the table.
The forward's goal was his second in 11 league appearances for the Glovers.
That victory moved Yeovil above Josh Vickers' Barnet, who lost 3-2 at Doncaster Rovers.
Barnet had trailed 2-0 before the break but were on level terms with four minutes to go, but Doncaster snatched a last-gasp winner.
Kenji Gorre was an unused substitute in Northampton's 1-1 draw at Scunthorpe.
The winger had featured earlier in the week as the Cobblers went down 3-1 at Coventry City in the Checkatrade Trophy.
The 22-year-old made his 15th appearance for the League One side, who exited the competition following two consecutive defeats.
