In League One, Adam King scored the only goal of the game as Crewe moved off the bottom of the table with victory at Shrewsbury.
King drilled home from 20 yards out after just two minutes for his fourth goal in nine games as the Railwaymen claimed their first three points of the season, while Stephen Kingsley also played the full 90 minutes.
In League Two, Connor Roberts played 90 minutes once again as Yeovil won 1-0 away at Crawley thanks to Harry Cornick's first-half winner.
The result means Yeovil move up to 20th place in the table after a tough start to the campaign.
Meanwhile, Alex Samuel came off the bench for the final 15 minutes as Morton battled to a 2-2 draw away at Queen of the South in the Scottish Championship.
In the Dutch Eredivisie, Kenji Gorre was an unused substitute as Den Haag suffered a 2-1 defeat away at PEC Zwolle.
