Eder put in a man-of-the-match display as he scored twice and set up the other as Lille beat Nantes 3-0.
The Portuguese striker opened the scoring in the 19th minute and then created the second just before the hour mark.
Eder took his tally to four goals in seven games for Lille in the 90th minute to put the gloss on a fine away win which moves them up to seventh in Ligue 1 - just six points off third-placed Lyon.
In the Barclays Premier League, Nathan Dyer came on for the final few minutes as Leicester City took a big step towards the title thanks to a 1-0 home win over Southampton.
Dyer made his 14th appearance for the Foxes, who sit seven points clear of second-placed Tottenham Hotspur with six games remaining.
In League Two, four Swans were in action.
Liam Shephard made his second debut for Yeovil as they eased moved closer to safety with a 1-0 home win over Newport County.
Shephard and Connor Roberts both played the full 90 minutes as Darren Way's side moved 13 points clear of the dropzone thanks to Jack Compton's first-half penalty. Former Swans striker Leroy Lita was an unused substitute for the Glovers.
Oliver McBurnie was an 83rd minute substitute as Bristol Rovers kept up their automatic promotion push with a 3-0 home win over Crawley.
He made his fourth appearance for Rovers, who are in third place via goal difference.
Daniel Alfei was also a substitute as ten-man Mansfield lost 2-1 at Hartlepool.
The full-back came on after 29 minutes following Krystian Pearce's early dismissal.
Alfei was then replaced in the final few minutes as Mansfield went in search of a late equaliser.
The loss leaves Mansfield eight points adrift of the play-off spots in League Two.
In Scotland, Alex Samuel made his 26th appearance for Morton as was introduced late on in their 0-0 draw at Dumbarton.
